Shared accommodation

Looking for just a room? As they say, sharing is caring! Shared accommodation is a great way to find others to socialise with but also keep your independent living. You’ll be sharing areas of the accommodation such as the kitchen, bathroom and living area. From shared houses to flats we’ve got a different selection in which you can choose from.

Bills inclusive

Take the stresses of bills away. Opt for our bills inclusive package in which all your bills are covered in one monthly payment as part of your rent. No need to keep tabs on when and what different bills are due. At Switch Properties we’re fair which is why our inclusive price is as competitive as it is. We’re able to offer this on a single tenant basis or as shared accommodation.

The renting process

Here’s our step-by-step guide on how it all works.

STEP 1

Let us know

Tell us what kind of accommodation you’re looking for. We’ll then be able to find and send you properties that match it. If you’re not sure, we can talk you through them.

STEP 2

Choosing a property

Browse the ones you like the look of, go view them and even take advantage of our virtual tours. Once you’ve decided on your favourite, it’s time to go forward with it. 

STEP 3

Checks and references

It’s time to get all the paperwork and references collected. Then it’ll be checked out by our team to make sure you’ve submitted all the necessary information.

STEP 4

Guarantor agreement

Being a student means you’ll most likely need a guarantor, and we’ll need their information. This guarantees that rent will be paid during your tenancy – the guarantor will be liable if you are not able to pay

STEP 5

Signing and deposits

Once all the checks have been finalised the tenancy agreement is signed and we’ll collect the deposit as appropriate.

STEP 6

Move-in day

You can come collect your keys because it’s time to move in! We’ll go over the inventory and can also give you a walk-through of the property and useful hints and tips.

STEP 7

Enjoy

Time to chill in your new home! If you need further assistance, don’t worry we’re still at hand to help.
